Some people walk into our lives,
Seeming so very near to us,
They share a thought they share a laugh,
They make things all so clear,
A feeling so nice a passion so real,
That drives off all your fears,
But when you think you made them yours,
They seem to disappear,
For strangers they are and they will be,
And they can not be yours,
They had a role they played for you,
For that is what was feared,
So darkness creeps into our lives,
And light is seen to vanish,
For heart is gone and never found,
Everything seems to perish.
So never fall in love my dear friend,
And never give your heart,
Keep it safe and keep it sound,
For love is bound to be lost.
